This climb deserves no beauty prize. Had the opportunity to ride it during the Grand Fondo F. Coppi in 2007 and, after the Sampeyre and the Fauniera, it is a tough climb. Obviously this gives a distorted picture, but still. Constant gradients and a whole series of hairpin bends make it slightly more bearable, but there are no nice views here. Reminds me of the Platzerwasel in the Vosges. A lone white building at the summit ends the ordeal.
Deze klim verdient geen schoonheidsprijs. Heb hem mogen oprijden tijdens de Grand Fondo F. Coppi in 2007 en is na de Sampeyre en de Fauniera een zware klim. Uiteraard geeft dit een vertekend beeld, maar toch. Contante stijgingspercentages en een hele reeks haarspeldbochten maken hem iets draaglijker, maar van mooie uitzichten is hier geen sprake. Doet me denken aan de Platzerwasel in de Vogezen. Een eenzaam wit gebouw op de top maakt een einde aan de beproeving.
