Not too interesting variant of the better-known San Germana. Practically two-thirds of the way up you take a left onto Via Beggioni, on a narrow road with a fairly uneven cement surface. The gradient is challenging but not prohibitive and the forest is thicker than on the "normal" road. After a kilometre of up and down the road becomes unpaved. Honestly, I didn't find this a worthwhile option.... read more
