Please note that this road is closed in winter from November to April. This is one of my favorite local climbs. The last km before reaching San Salvatore is incredibly steep concrete with an average gradient of about 22%. At this point, take a left and continue climbing up more steep gradients for the views or go right to see the church and continue on the valley road. Both roads become gravel eventually.
