An excellent hidden climb - the traffic was hardly anything and the surface is good apart form 3 very short sections of small gravel. It looks like where the tree cutting machines have been. Other than that it was great. Steeper than I expected and the first half at least is in trees so on the day I went - over 30Deg C - it was OK until I left the trees. Great climb - highly recommended for the peace and quiet and the views. I saw 2 deer on the road who vanished when they saw me- I think that tells you how quiet the road normally is.
