Interesting to access the plateau du vercors, but a bit long with few turns sometimes. Beautiful panoramas however
Beaux panoramas cependant
Good climb ideal for the resumption, it is warm with several cyclists and bikers and we have a beautiful view of Grenoble!
Long ascent on a wide and well-paved road, with a regular slope and relatively low altitude, except towards the Tour-sans-Venin and just after. Strong point: superb panoramas on Grenoble and the neighbouring massifs of Chartreuse and Belledonne, almost all the way up. Weakness: there can be a lot of traffic, especially during rush hour. Another weakness, for those who fear the heat, is that the road is exposed to the sun almost all the time. Note the existence of a variant with the same level of difficulty leaving from Seyssinet-Pariset and joining the route indicated here after 4 or 5 km, and a few possibilities of mixing and matching between these two accesses.
