The ascent to the second highest refuge in Sardinia, S'Arena altitude 1510m, from here you can continue first on a dirt road and then on an impassable path to the roof of Sardinia, Punta La Marmora 1834m. The road is in fair condition and traffic is practically absent, it is easy until the terrible hairpin bends below the refuge, which are around 15％.

La strada è in discrete condizioni e il traffico è praticamente assente, è semplice sino ai terribili tornanti sotto al rifugio, che sono intorno al 15-18％.
