Beautiful road initially through open countryside, then through a residential area, on a moderate surface. The road initially winds through beautiful surroundings and becomes more difficult at the start of a small wooded area until you reach the summit.
Despite the narrow road, there may be oncoming traffic.
Schöne Straße zunächst durch offenes Gebiet, anschließend durch ein Wohngebiet, auf mäßigem Belag. Die Straße schlängelt sich zunächst durch eine schöne Umgebung und wird mit Beginn eines kleinen Waldstückes schwieriger, bis man den Gipfel erreicht hat.
Trotz der engen Straße kann es zu Gegenverkehr kommen.
Part of the Kalkbaan tourist cycle route. For untrained people who do not ride an e-bike it is a tough climb. Quiet road in beautiful surroundings, but much noise from the nearby through road. Few views, only in the beginning.
Onderdeel van de Kalkbaan toeristische fietsroute. Voor ongetrainde mensen die niet op een e-bike rijden wordt dat dan toch een pittig klimmetje. Rustige weg in mooie omgeving, wel veel herrie van de nabijgelegen doorgaande weg. Weinig uitzichten verder, alleen in het begin.
Really a ramp that gets steeper towards the top. Beautiful surroundings on the outskirts of the city. The tarmac is very variable, with good, but also bad parts. Especially a good road to get in or out of the busy Aachen, not logical to include in a round trip if you do not have to be in the city.
Echt een schans die naar de top toe steeds steiler wordt. Mooie omgeving aan de rand van de stad. Het asfalt is erg wisselend, met goede, maar ook slechte stukken. Vooral een goede weg om het drukke Aken in of uit te komen, niet logisch om in een rondje op te nemen als je niet in de stad hoeft te zijn.
