This climb starts from the bridge over the stream but only after crossing the Vennbahn it really goes up. The first part, however, runs through a beautiful marshy area so it would be a shame to skip it. But for the real climb you can do it from the Vennbahn. Then it goes up fast and you have to push hard. You pass several information boards and just after the third one, you reach the top. Until then, the slope is already slowly decreasing, the devil is really in the first part after the Vennbahn. Beautiful surroundings and good tarmac (although a bit gritty).
