However, streams can form longitudinally along the gravel road when there is a lot of precipitation but this mainly results in some splashing (and you can avoid them). Deze klim nu ook in de winter gecontroleerd en ook dan is het graveldeel prima te fietsen (en het asfalt uiteraard ook). Wel kunnen er bij veel neerslag stroompjes in de lengte over de gravelweg vormen maar dat levert voornamelijk wat gespetter op (en je kan ze vermijden). Het asfaltgedeelte is aangenaam fietsen met rechts een fraai poortgebouw.

Another way to cycle from Leersumsestraatweg towards Ruiterberg. This route follows the junction route (from Sandenburgerlaan you cross the road straight across). So here you first come to a good and solid gravel/gravel road that follows a nice route through the forest and is slightly steeper than the regular climb at the end. You then follow the asphalt road upwards which also remains a nice stretch.

Een andere manier om vanaf de Leersumsestraatweg richting de Ruiterberg te fietsen. Dit traject volgt het knooppuntentraject (vanuit de Sandenburgerlaan steek je de weg recht over). Hier kom je dus eerst op een goede en stevige gravel-/grindweg die een mooi traject door het bos volgt en op het eind iets steiler is dan de reguliere klim. Daarna volg je de asfaltweg naar boven wat ook een mooi stuk blijft.
