This side of the Ruidenberg is the least popular, but still it's quite special. The start is situated at the crossroads where you turn into the Carrestraat. At first it's still false flat, but you see in front of you that it suddenly goes up very steeply in no time. When you see the house on the right and the road turns into concrete, it goes up about 200 meters 5 to 7 percent. Then it levels off and remains then 800 meters false flat with a few turns to the top. On the straight the wind can play a role, especially on cloudy days. Not the most difficult side, but for me special because it suddenly goes to 7 percent. If you cycle in the neighbourhood of the Ruidenberg, you should definitely try it.
Deze kant van de Ruidenberg is wel de minst populaire, maar toch is hij redelijk speciaal. De start vind je op het kruispunt waar je de Carrestraat in draait. Eerst gaat hij nog vals plat, maar je ziet wel voor je dat hij dan plotseling zeer steil omhoog gaat in geen tijd. Wanneer je het huis ziet aan de rechterkant en de weg ziet overgaan in beton gaat het dan zo'n 200 meter 5 tot max. 7 procent omhoog. Vervolgens vlakt het dan af en blijft het dan nog 800 meter vals plat met een paar bochten tot de top. Op het rechte stuk kan de wind wel z'n rol spelen, zeker op bewolkte dagen. Niet de moeilijkste kant, maar voor mij wel speciaal omdat het plots naar de 7 procent gaat. Als je in de buurt van de Ruidenberg fietst, moet je hem zeker eens proberen.
