A nice climb starting in the centre of Gemmenich where people often cycle through in the direction of Vaals or the other way around. Then you turn left up a small road which after a few meters goes down and then through a few nice curves sometimes goes up towards a viaduct over the railway. Then the road becomes a dirt forest road, where I did see a car and some gravelbikers coming from. Along the way and from the viaduct a nice view to the left, to the Drielandenpunt.

Outside the built-up area the asphalt is pretty bad (quiet descent is the credo), although there is often a good track to find when climbing. Just before the viaduct there is a gravel piece (about 50 meters) after which there is a concrete surface until the viaduct.
