Boy, did I do something wrong. We trained with the under 18s of the team. I had seen the course beforehand, and that didn't put me at ease: Op de Kriezel, Côte de Glons, Avenue du Jolibois, Saint-Nicolas, Hallembaye and a few more hills in Haspengouw. But I had not expected this one. So steep! And with cobblestones. Scrambling to the top, guaranteed. The slope itself is worthwhile, but the traffic in Liège is perhaps a bridge too far.
