If you are in Namur and have had the citadel, this is the steepest climb. The start is resurfaced, with embarrassingly large, and many, white bikes painted on the tarmac. Then a good bit through suburbs and then through farmland. Nice to test if you can still make it to the 12%, with two descents in between to recover.

First part of the climb is on tarmac with potholes through a residential area where, with some bad luck, you have to give way to the right a few times. The climb gets steeper and bit nicer running through fields. All in all, a not very memorable climb. If you want to discover the most beautiful/difficult part of the region, I would turn to more southern clappers.

1st piece of bad tarmac then ok. did it 3 times today to gain altimeters... cursed every time on difficult middle piece.

1ste stukje slecht asfalt daarna ok.
