From Kelmis, you descend into the valley of the stream Roer. At the bottom of the valley, the short/pitchy climb between the trees starts on a hollow road. The steepest part runs until just before the bend to the left. Once you have rounded the bend, it flattens out considerably until the summit a little further on. Right in front of you nice views of the famous railway viaduct.
Vanuit Kelmis daal je af naar het dal van het beekje Roer. Onder in het dal begint de korte/pittige klim tussen de bomen over een holle weg. Het steilste deel loopt tot vlak voor de bocht naar links. Zodra je de bocht om bent gegaan vlakt het tot de top een stukje verderop flink af. Recht voor je mooi uitzicht op het bekende spoorwegviaduct.
The climb starts just before Moresnet church. Before entering the 30-km zone, turn right onto Rue de Viaduc. There, past the cemetery, the steepest part of the climb starts. In front of you you see the immense railway viaduct. If you turn left with the curve, you are almost at the top
De klim begint net voor de kerk van Moresnet. Voor je de 30-km zone inrijdt ga je rechtsaf Rue de Viaduc op. Daar begint langs de begraafplaats het steilste stuk van de klim. Voor je zie je het immense spoorwegviaduct. Als je linksaf met de bocht bent meegereden ben je nagenoeg op de top
A very nice climb! From the center of Moresnet you climb steadily along the church and after having turned right along the cemetery up. From the top you have a nice view on the village itself.
Een heel leuke klim! Vanuit het "centrum" van Moresnet klim je redelijk gestaag langs de kerk en na rechtsaf te zijn geslagen langs de begraafplaats omhoog, waarbij je wisselende en steeds fraaiere uitzichten hebt op het spoorwegviaduct van Moresnet. Van bovenaf ook fraai uitzicht op het dorp zelf.
