I was crazy (stupid if you will) to include this climb in my route on my way to France. A kilometer of climbing with an average of 15% with peaks you can feel. As soon as you turn into the road in Halanzy, you can see the wall already. It is immediately clear that this little climb means serious death. After having digested the 15% you come out of the houses into the forest. Don't think you're there yet, you still have at least 300 meters to go.
The road surface is good, and the paved road ends in a dead end. On the road bike you can make a short cut over 100 meters of dirt road to get to France.
Nice climb. If you like pain. For strong men a KOM must be doable.
