A climb where the tarmac dead ends. The last part and the part after the summit is gravel, but after the summit you soon get back on a good paved road where you can descend to Baelen. At the climb, the first part the tarmac is in excellent condition but after the Y-junction it gets a lot worse, although there is still good cycling. Nice rural setting and in the first part good views to the back of Membach.
Een klim waarbij het asfalt doodloopt. Het laatste stukje en het stuk na de top is gravel, maar na de top kom je al snel weer op een goede verharde weg waar je naar Baelen kunt afdalen. Bij de klim is het eerste deel het asfalt in uitstekende staat maar na de Y-splitsing wordt het een stuk slechter, al valt er nog wel goed te fietsen. Mooie rurale omgeving en in het eerste deel goed uitzicht naar achteren op Membach.
