The steep percentages alone make it worth including this climb in your route. The road is quite boring but well paved and quiet.
Alleen al door de steile percentages is het de moeite waard om deze klim in je route op te nemen. De weg is vrij saai maar wel goed geasfalteerd en rustig.
Straightforward climb: on wide road where otherwise little traffic. Very steep section for several hundred metres. Gradually the percentages weaken and you can also take a look around at the beautiful forest you ride through. Continues to rise until village of Le Mésnil.
Rechttoe-recht aan klim: op brede weg waar overigens weinig verkeer. Zeer steil stuk voor enkele honderden meters. Geleidelijk zwakken de percentages af en kan je ook een rondkijken naar het mooie bos waar je doorrijdt. Blijft doorstijgen tot dorpje Le Mésnil.
Not the most beautiful road, but a good climb. I did this one at the beginning of my route and my heart rate went right up. Pretty tough!
Niet de mooiste weg, maar wel een prima klimmetje. Ik deed deze aan het begin van m'n route en m'n hartslag sloeg gelijk op hol. Best pittig dus!
Tough customer! The road is good and wide, and you can see a large part of the slope from below. Our courage dropped because of the steepness. The steepest part comes pretty early in the climb and is very hard, but then you're still far from the top ... For the enthusiasts!
Taaie klant! De weg is goed en breed, en je ziet een groot deel van de helling liggen van beneden. De moed zakte in onze schoenen omwille van de steilheid. Het steilste stuk komt vrij vroeg in de beklimming en is keihard, maar dan ben je er nog lang niet ... Voor de liefhebbers!
This climb is better known as the Moulin de Mazée. Very famous hill in the region. Not easy to manage. With the width of the road, you don't realize how steep it is... And you have the impression to have no legs, to be a big m... ;-)
Cette montée est plus connue sous le nom du Moulin de Mazée. Côte très réputée de la région. Pas facile à gérer. Avec la largeur de la route on ne se rend pas compte des pourcentages... Et l'on a l'impression de ne pas avoir de jambes, Voir d'être une grosse m... ;-)
