Here you climb through the pretty pastures of the Fribourg Pre-Alps, which is a real pleasure! The view of the Moléson is the reward!

Les Paccots is a pretty winter sports resort at 1061 m, belonging to Châtel St Denis in the Canton of Fribourg. From Châtel St Denis you can take the Route des Paccots but there is a lot of traffic. It is therefore absolutely recommended to take the road from Prauthey to La Frasse. The first few kilometres are moderately steep (up to 9.5％), then it goes smoothly. There is a beautiful view of the Dent de Lys on the way up. There are several fountains with drinking water on the way. A highly recommended climb.
Les Paccots est une jolie station de sports d'hiver située à 1061 m et appartenant à Châtel St Denis dans le Canton de Fribourg. A partir de Châtel St Denis, on peut prendre la Route des Paccots mais il y a beaucoup de trafic. C'est donc absolument recommandé de prendre la route de Prauthey vers La Frasse. Les premiers kilomètres sont modérément raides (jusqu'à 9.5％), puis, ça roule sans problème. On a une belle vue de la Dent de Lys en ascendant. Il y a plusieurs fontaines avec de l'eau potable sur le chemin. Montée très recommandée.
