Here you climb through the pretty pastures of the Fribourg Pre-Alps, which is a real pleasure! The view of the Moléson is the reward!

Les Paccots is a pretty winter sports resort at 1061 m, belonging to Châtel St Denis in the Canton of Fribourg. From Châtel St Denis you can take the Route des Paccots but there is a lot of traffic. It is therefore absolutely recommended to take the road from Prauthey to La Frasse. The first few kilometres are moderately steep (up to 9.5%), then it goes smoothly. There is a beautiful view of the Dent de Lys on the way up. There are several fountains with drinking water on the way. A highly recommended climb.
