From the joint summit of Hurpesch/Kleeberg/Elzeterberg you descend towards Rott when, after the bend near the houses on the right of the road, you see a kind of wall looming. With enough speed out of the descent/just shifted you can ride uphill on power. If this is not the case, you will see that the short climb is suddenly very difficult to get to the top.
Vanaf de gezamenlijke top van Hurpesch/Kleeberg/Elzeterberg daal je af richting Rott als je na de bocht bij de huizen rechts van de weg een soort muur ziet opdoemen. Met voldoende vaart uit de afdaling/juist geschakeld kan je op de macht naar boven rijden. Is dit niet het geval dan zal je zien dat het korte klimmetje ineens heel erg lastig is om boven te komen.

In the middle of, in my opinion, the most beautiful part of the hill country you will find this little pimple. Just turn on and you're at the top. Before and after you enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the farms and half-timbered houses.
Midden in, naar mijn mening, het mooiste stukje heuvelland vind je deze kleine pukkel. Even aanzetten en je bent boven. Je geniet ervoor en erna van de prachtige omgeving en de boerderijtjes en vakwerkhuisjes.
You think you can ride relaxed from the top of the Hurpesch to Vijlen, but then you meet this small but tough climb. Starting at a nice group of half-timbered houses, the climb curves nicely upwards between the trees. You just have to push on and soon you arrive at the houses at the top where the climb quickly flattens out.
Je denkt relaxed van de top van de Hurpesch naar Vijlen te rijden maar dan komt je dit kleine maar pittige klimmetje tegen. Startend bij een mooi groepje vakwerkhuizen krult de klim tussen de bomen mooi omhoog. Even aanzetten en al spoedig kom je bij de huizen boven waar de klim al snel afvlakt.
