This climb from Wallendorf is a good opportunity to get used to the climbing rhythm. Not so hard, not so long and very even. In the village you still start on cobblestones which soon turns into beautiful smooth asphalt. As soon as you cycle out of the village, the tarmac deteriorates. After the hairpin bend, you are actually almost there and it slowly flattens out a bit. At the top, on an evening ride in June, I saw a fox walking on the road. Special experience.
Deze klim vanuit Wallendorf is een goede gelegenheid om aan het klimritme te wennen. Niet zo zwaar, niet zo lang en heel gelijkmatig. In het dorpje start je nog op de kasseien wat als snel overgaat in prachtig glad asfalt. Zodra je het dorp uitfiets wordt het asfalt wat slechter. Na de haarspeldbocht ben je er eigenlijk al bijna en vlakt het langzaam wat af. Bovenop zag ik tijdens een avondrit in juni een vos op de weg lopen. Bijzondere ervaring.
