If you come from Simonskall - and not descending from the Ochsenkopf - it is actually a continuous climb together with the Kallweg. So I 'm at the end of a 100km round trip experienced. Then it is a 5.6km climb at only 3.3% average. The first 10 minutes on the Kallweg and the 13 minutes after the small bridge on the Dürenerstrasse (the beginning of the climb as shown here) are very hard. It is also an uneven climb that starts steeply on the Kallweg, then continues against the 2% valsplat to become very steep again and to level off towards Rollesbroich. It is a very nice area, quiet road and good tarmac.

Good tarmac, quiet road, but at the bottom a wall. I came down from the Ochsenkopf, crossed the small bridge and lost your speed immediately. First part is really steep, in the right turn it bends upwards when you have to take the inside bend. After that it climbs just fine, with the well-known flattening to the top as so often in the Eifel.
