by BoundahGreat climb. It’s about the same length & average gradient as Sa Calobra in Mallorca (c7% for the ‘official’ climb from the bridge) but there are a few sections much flatter and steeper, so the constant changes make it hard to find a rhythm. All worth it for the views of the Pyrenees fro... read more

Small but strong, regular change of pace. Good surface on the first part, then deformed with cracks, probably due to the tanker truck that uses this little road'surely it's not going to pay for the work! What a waste'otherwise for a climb it's more like a real pass!
Challenging climb where you’re likely to see a pro cyclist or two out on a training ride. Take care descending because there are some rough patches on the road.
Known to my friends as the Rocacorbaaargh. Magnificent views at the top (as on many peaks here), but towards the summit it's a tough climb with those double percentages... A must do if you want to wear a shirt from the local Rocacorba clothing line.
I've done this climb in November and it was warm, colorful and beautiful. If you decide to climb it, you will spend most time in the wood, but at the top views will just explode. There are few steeper sections (~12%) and few flat ones where you can catch your breath. Overall not to hard if you manage to pace yourself :)
A beautiful climb that you should not miss. There are some good steep parts and when you finally reach the top, the view is magnificent.
Great climb. It’s about the same length & average gradient as Sa Calobra in Mallorca (c7% for the ‘official’ climb from the bridge) but there are a few sections much flatter and steeper, so the constant changes make it hard to find a rhythm. All worth it for the views of the Pyrenees from the top. As it’s a dead end there’s almost no traffic, but be careful on the descent as the surface isn’t in great condition.
The Rocacorba itself, like the other climbs, is a nice sporting challenge. I did not stay in the vicinity, but in a campground at the foot of the Pyrenees. The landscape there was sometimes extraordinarily beautiful.
