A tough climb, with uneven, increasing gradients. Pace yourself, the toughest part is near the end (after passing the car park).

Visually, the climb is nice, but the real reward is at the top, with astonishing views on the lake Guinness.

Check the forecast - weather can be rough up the Wicklow mountains, with fog or strong winds.
