Challenging ascent! It is all paved, but not always in good condition. Only the last part is unpaved but it is flat and in good condition. The first stretch is the hardest. The traffic can be annoying in the summertime. In July and August there is an alternating one-way street: in the morning you can only go up and in the afternoon you can only go down. At the end of the climb there is a nice refuge (Rifugio Padova) with excellent cuisine.
Salita impegnativa! È tutta asfaltata, ma non sempre in buone condizioni. Solo l'ultimo pezzo è sterrato in buone condizioni. Il primo tratto è il più duro. Il traffico può essere fastidioso nel periodo estivo. In luglio e agosto c'è il senso unico alternato: la mattina si può solo salire e nel pomeriggio si può solo scendere. Al termine della salita c'è un bel rifugio (Rifugio Padova) con ottima cucina.
