This was a really nice climb with some steep sections and some easy sections. The start on Judy lane is steep to get started and then calms down up through quiet country lanes. The road then kicks up again through a hairpin before undulating to the top of the climb which feels like it never ends! There are beautiful views of Croker hill to the right, the Roaches to the left and the Cheshire plain straight ahead. The road surface is generally good although is really broken down in places - mainly on Judy lane and just after the hairpin. Traffic was non-existent although I passed a couple of horses! Overall a lovely climb with rewarding views.
