In really rate this climb, not just because it's on the right side of tough (it does get some savage wind and weather, be warned) but because it's quite long and is great training for bigger European climbs.

Nothing overly steep; the bit at the halfway point where there's loads of mesh to hold back the rocks is probably the steepest section but it's not long. Road surface has generally always been good, the odd rock and sheep dropping (although I understand a 2024 landslide has closed the road for a while)

The Watchman's Hut is a bit of a local landmark and always good for a bike shot
