Heavy climb with a long steep section. For those who like that steep, they can start at the bottom of the village via 'am schlossberg' (on google the road is called 'Auf dem gret') to add some extra steep metres. Only when you come out of the trees the first time does it get a bit easier, and the same seems to be true for the times after that when you come out of a bush. At the end, it continues to go up false flat for a long time and at the windmill you are only really at the top. There is also a bench here under the trees to take a breather if necessary.

The scenery is fine, but at the top it is a kind of plateau so the views are less beautiful than on other climbs in the region (but then the bar is high here).

Road surface is good and there is very little traffic.
