Nice and gentle climb that runs mainly through a residential area. The first part runs on a cycle lane along a wider road. After turning right into a street, the slope continues for a while. Then a small descent and after the right-angled turn it only goes up at varying percentages. Most of it is asphalt, the last part well-laid cobbles. After the climb, you can continue right until a roundabout. Here you can turn right (eventually) down to Eygelshoven, or turn left towards the valley of the Anstelerbeek.
Aardige en rustige klim die vooral door een woonwijk loopt. Het eerste deel loopt over een fietsstrook langs een bredere weg. Na rechtsaf een straat in te zijn geslagen, loopt de helling nog even door. Daarna een kleine afdaling en na de haakse bocht gaat het alleen nog maar omhoog in wisselende percentages. Het grootste deel is asfalt, het laatste stuk goed gelegde klinkers. Na de klim kan je rechtsdoor tot een rotonde. Hier kan je rechtsaf (uiteindelijk) afdalen naar Eygelshoven, of linksaf richting het dal van de Anstelerbeek.
