A climb to take in if you are driving from south to north in Ardennes. You come from a beautiful Ravel route right through eastern High Fens. Instead of continuing to Monschau, you can take the climb to Mutzenich, as a link road to the equally beautiful forest east of Wesertalsperre (don't stay on the N67 as you descend towards Eupen).
The climb may not be special, the larger area you ride through is. Especially compared to the annoyingly busy roads around Barraque Michel.

Een klim om mee te nemen als je van zuid naar noord rijdt in Ardennen. Je komt van een prachtige Ravel route dwars door oostelijke Hoge Venen. Ipv door te rijden naar Monschau, kun je de klim pakken naar Mutzenich, als verbindingsweg naar het net zo fraaie bos ten oosten van Wesertalsperre (niet op de N67 blijven als je richting Eupen daalt).
De klim mag niet bijzonder zijn, het grotere gebied waar je doorheen rijdt, is het wel. Zeker in vergelijking met de vervelend drukke wegen rondom Barraque Michel.
