It's only just under 200 metres in altitude, but it's a tough one! It starts steeply, flattens out slightly and is more challenging than at the beginning. Grit your teeth and keep going, because there is no way out. So if you already know that you won't have enough energy today, then ride up the Hirnsberger Berg, which is also strenuous (albeit much gentler).

At the top, it's worth turning left (east) a few metres to a legendary vantage point from where you can look out over Lake Chiemsee and the Alpine panorama.

It is not recommended to ride down on a racing bike. The road has deep ruts in places (rainwater), which are repaired from time to time, but one of them is always broken and this can be very dangerous downhill. So just ride up, ok?

Es sind zwar nur knapp 200 hm, aber diese haben es in sich! Es fängt steil an, flacht geringfügig ab und zieht mehr an, als zu Anfang. Zähne zusammen beißen und weiter machen, denn einen Ausstieg gibt es nicht. Wenn du also schon weißt, dass heute die Körner nicht reichen, dann fahr den Hirnsberger Berg hoch, dieser ist auch anstrengend (wenn auch viel sanfter).

Oben angekommen lohnt es sich nach links (östlich) eine paar Meter zu einem legendären Aussichtspunkt zu fahren, von wo man über den Chiemsee blicken kann und zum Alpenpanorama.

Mit Rennrad runter zu fahren empfiehlt sich nicht. Die Straße hat teilweise tiefe Querrillen (Regenwasser), die zwar immer wieder mal in Ordnung gebracht werden, aber irgendeine ist trotzdem immer eine kaputt und das kann bergab sehr gefährlich werden. Also nur hoch fahren, ok?
