Nice and long climb in the Eiffel. Starting near the beautiful Ahrweiler the road climbs up through the fields. This is immediately the toughest part. This continues for a while when you enter the forest, but then it becomes (and remains) a wonderful runner. After about 7,5 km you reach the top in Ramersbach, a village of more than 1000 years old, although you don't see anything of it anymore...
Leuke en lange klim in de Eiffel. Beginnend vlakbij het prachtige Ahrweiler klimt de weg door de velden omhoog. Dit is direct het zwaarste stuk. Dit houdt nog even aan als je het bos binnen fietst, maar daarna wordt (en blijft) het een heerlijke loper. Na zo'n 7,5 kilometer bereik je de top in Ramersbach, een dorpje van meer dan 1000 jaar oud, al zie je daar eigenlijk niets meer van...
