Fun climb to do if you're in the area. Good for picking up pace, never overly tough but still long enough. However, if you like a challenge and some self-pain: there is a narrow street parallel to the start of the climb uphill that picks up on the main climb. According to Strava, 500m at 17％ average, which does seem about right, and with stretches up to 24％. With scrambling up this first and then climbing another 5km, you suddenly have a much more difficult experience. Do absolutely NOT descend this side, though.
Leuke beklimming om te doen als je in de buurt bent. Goed om tempo op te rijden, nooit overdreven zwaar, maar toch lang genoeg. Als je echter van een uitdaging en wat zelfpijniging houdt: er loopt een smalle straat parallel aan de start van de klim omhoog die inpikt op de hoofdklim. Volgens Strava 500m aan 17％ gemiddeld, wat wel ongeveer lijkt te kloppen, en met stukken tot 24％. Met eerst dit op te klauteren en dan nog 5 km te stijgen, heb je plots een veel lastigere ervaring. Wel absoluut deze kant NIET afdalen.
