Klim begint onder het viaduct. Geen mooie omgeving, maar aan het eind van de klim heb je wel een mooi uitzicht op de verdergelegen kerk van Klimmen. Geen omweg waard, er zijn mooiere alternatieve routes om Klimmen te bereiken.
Coming from Retersbeek/Weustenrade, enter Klimmen via Putterweg. Walk up the last 250 metres towards the junction with Barrier. If you already have the necessary kilometres in your legs, you will definitely feel this climb. There are nicer climbs around Klimmen/Ransdaal.
Als je vanaf Retersbeek/Weustenrade komt rijdt je Klimmen via de Putweg binnen. Laatste 250 meter richting de splitsing met Barrier lopen op. Heb je daar al de nodige kilometers in de benen zitten dan voel je deze klim zeker. Rond Klimmen/Ransdaal zijn leukere klimmetje te vinden.
A bit of a double climb. The first part is through greenery, has some views but hardly any climbing. The second part (after the viaduct) climbs a bit more (not really worthwhile) but runs between forest and houses and therefore has no view. Good tarmac further.
Een beetje tweeledige klim. Het eerste deel loopt mooi door groen, heeft wat uitzicht maar klimt amper. Het tweede deel (na het viaduct) klimt iets meer (nog niet echt noemenswaardig) maar loopt tussen bos en huizen door en heeft dus geen uitzicht. Wel goed asfalt verder.
