A hard climb in stunning scenery. It’s very rare to encounter cars and perhaps the occasional fellow cyclist. The road is in bad condition in places but passable with care, a gravel or mountain bike will have no problem. The road is lined with Mediterranean herbs and plants and the smell is delightful when it has rained. All in all worth the pain of the climb! ... read more

A hard climb in stunning scenery. It’s very rare to encounter cars and perhaps the occasional fellow cyclist. The road is in bad condition in places but passable with care, a gravel or mountain bike will have no problem. The road is lined with Mediterranean herbs and plants and the smell is delightful when it has rained. All in all worth the pain of the climb!
