The Puerto de El Caballon from Rio Cuzna ( river ) can be called a runner but one that can count. Almost 6.5 km at over 7％ and sometimes with double figures.
The road surface is fantastic and if you take it as a descent the pros here get over 100 lm per hour.

Bernard Thevenet in the Dauphine Libérè when he rode for the Spanish Teka in 1980. Since this climb is located in the hottest region of Spain and Europe, it is not a luxury to bring a lot of drinks because there is no possibility of refuelling on the way. A beautiful area but very open, so little shy.

De Puerto de El Caballon vanuit Rio Cuzna ( rivier ) mag je een loper noemen maar eentje die kan tellen. Bijna 6.5 km aan meer dan 7％ en met af en toe dubbele cijfers.
Het wegdek is fantastisch en als je hem als afdaling neemt komen de profs hier boven de 100 lm per uur.

Bernard Thevenet in de Dauphine Libérè toen hij in 1980 voor het Spaanse Teka reed. Aangezien deze beklimming in de warmste regio van Spanje en Europa ligt is veel drank meenemen geen overbodige luxe want er is geen mogelijkheid tot bevoorrading onderweg. Wel een prachtige omgeving maar zeer open , dus weinig schauw.
