To get to the starting point - if you only want to cycle on tarmac - you have to descend to it from the little tunnel. A good gravel road is also possible (there are two cycle routes) but it is still a long way over unpaved roads.
From the start, a good tarmac road with a nice percentage runs up through the forest. To your left you have another WW2 tank barrier. At the little tunnel the road surface becomes less and you have to watch out for obstacles (against cars's) in the road surface that are not really clearly marked.
After the little tunnel, turn right where it immediately goes up steeply with even a stretch where you really have to apply force. Once you reach the houses, the spice is soon gone and it is pretty much false flat until the end. Largely beautiful scenery and nicely varied.
