Lovely constant climb on great road. Quiet in Am and gets busier then. I climbed in August and it was hot but the route is well shaded by trees so ideal for sunnier days. Continue on into Geres national park and it is sublime. I went to spanish border and descended back. Towns and cafes well located for food and water.

This is a lovely steady climb on a good road surface. I did it in August 2025 and it was hot but the entire climb is well shaded by trees so ideal for summer cycling. further on and into the Geres national park it is amazing on buttery roads in beautiful forest. towns well placed for water and food stops.
