Let op geen schaduw!
Een geweldig landschap en een niet al te zware col. Het uitzicht op de wilde natuur en de 'L'hers' is verbluffend mooi. Alleen al vanwege het landschap een echte aanrader. Let wel op trouwens, je vindt geen schaduw op deze klim wat hem een stukje pittiger maakt op warme zomerdagen.

Nice climb with even gradients. Ideal for combining from Tarascon with the Col de Port. Unfortunately especially in part 2 little shade and combined with the heat it was gruelling. At the top (especially after you pass the top of the Agnes) it is stunning with beautiful views.
Mooie klim met gelijkmatige stijgingspercentages. Ideaal om vanuit Tarascon de combineren met de Col de Port. Helaas zeker in deel 2 weinig schaduw en in combinatie met de hitte was het afzien. Bovenop (zeker nadat je de top van de Agnes bent langsgegaan) is het schitterend met prachtige vergezichten.
A first experience of climbing passes. Col de Port and Port de Lers from Tarascon. A tour of 73 kilometres for 1700 of d+. It's worth making the diversions and extending it if you have a little time to spare with the tour of the passes.
What's pleasant here is the rapid succession of climbs and the lack of vehicle traffic (with the exception of the descent to Vicdessos, during which you pass cars on their way to the start of the hikes from Port de Lers and the Col d'Agnès).
Une première expérience de montée de cols. Col de Port et Port de Lers au départ de Tarascon. Un tour de 73 kilomètres pour 1700 de d+. Cela mérite de faire le détour et d'être rallongé si l'on a un peu de temps devant soi avec le tour des cols.
Ce qui est agréable ici c'est la succession rapide des ascensions et la faible circulation de véhicules (exception faite de la descente vers Vicdessos durant laquelle on croise des voitures se rendant aux départs de randonnée du Port de Lers et du col d'Agnès).

Today 29 July 2021 I cycled this in a round Les Cinq Cols (101 km 2500 hm). Is a beautiful round. The climb to Port de Lers from the other side (D8) is 11,5 km long and averages 7,5％ a tough climb. If it is not too foggy, you have a nice view. But it is also beautiful once you are above the clouds. In the tour I cycled from Tarascon there was also Col d'Agnes, Col de Saraillé, Col de Caugnous, Col du Port.

Vandaag 29 juli 2021 heb ik dit gefietst in een ronde Les Cinq Cols (101 km 2500 hm). Is een mooie ronde. De klim naar Port de Lers vanaf de andere zijde (D8) is 11,5 km lang en gemiddeld 7,5％ een pittige klim dus. Als het niet te mistig is heb je een mooi uitzicht. Maar ook is het mooi als je eenmaal boven de wolken bent. In de ronde die ik gefietst heb vanuit Tarascon zat verder Col d’Agnes, Col de Saraillé, Col de Caugnous, Col du Port.
