Constant climb rich of fountains, hairpins and panorama over Adda river. Sometimes a narrow road crossing grapes cultivation, this is a very lonely and peaceful place. Sunny road, except last km with some shade and fresh winds.
A little-known and little-publicised climb, but beautiful, steady and on perhaps one of the most scenic roads in the entire Valtellina.
From here you can admire all the Orobie Valtellinesi.
Well-maintained road and optimal exposure, always in the sun (making it feasible even in autumn and spring).
Water fountains along the route and the possibility of refreshments on arrival in Civo but also along the ascent.
Ample car parking in the Morbegno area (before the bridge over the Adda river).
I recommend combining it with some other climbs, such as Val Gerola or Val Tartano.
Salita poco conosciuta e pubblicizzata ma bella, costante e su una delle strade forse più panoramiche di tutta la Valtellina.
Da qui potrete ammirare tutte le Orobie Valtellinesi.
Strada ben tenuta ed esposizione ottimale, sempre al sole (la rende fattibile anche in autunno e primavera ).
Fontane di acqua lungo il percorso e possibilità di ristorarsi all'arrivo a Civo ma anche lungo la salita.
Ampie possibilità di parcheggio auto in zona Morbegno (prima del ponte sul fiume Adda).
Consiglio di abbinarla a qualche altra salita , tipo Val Gerola o Val Tartano.
