Elba is gorgeous for cycling.
Did this climb in September and it climbs gradually up to Poggio. Good tarmac and the second part of the climb is among the trees, nice against the sun. At the top of the village nice views to the starting point.
Elba is schitterend om te fietsen.
In september deze beklimming gedaan en hij loopt geleidelijk omhoog naar Poggio. Goed asfalt en het tweede deel van de klim ligt tussen de bomen, lekker tegen de zon. Boven in het dorp mooi uitzicht naar het beginpunt.

A wide hairpin bend leaves the main road to take a narrow road that leads to the top of the mountain.
At the top, a clearing of beautiful pine trees with picnic tables. Excellent view

No fountains but food available on arrival at Poggio.

Da Marciana Marina è ben pedalabile fino a Poggio e sale dal mare costante al 4-7％
Da un ampio tornante si lascia la strada principale per imboccare una stradina stretta che porta alla cima del monte.
In cima, una radura di bei pini con tavoli da pic-nic. Ottima vista
Fatta durante il periplo dell'isola (giro stupendo !!)
No fontane ma possibilità di cibo all'arrivo a Poggio.
