Mainly known as a descent in the classic Milan - San Remo, but this is still a nice climb. History in the descent, but if you ride the climb up, you have just a bit more time to muse about that history. Nice, as a fan, because of the history.
But of course it is a runner.
And yet... And yet, if I lived in the neighbourhood, I would drive up every day and be 'local legend'.
The road is good, asphalt... And you have a beautiful view of the sea.

Vooral gekend als afdaling in de klassiekere Milaan - San Remo, maar dit is toch een mooie klim. Historiek in de afdaling, maar als je de klim omhoog rijdt, heb je net iets meer tijd om te mijmeren over die historiek. Mooi, als liefhebber, door de historiek.
Maar het is uiteraard een lopertje.
En toch... en toch, moest ik in de buurt wonen, zou ik hem elke dag oprijden en 'local legend' zijn.
Wegdek is goed, asfalt... En je hebt mooie uitzicht op de zee.
