This is not my favourite ascent: down through the village, up the very busy road with two lanes uphill. I prefer the route via Engenhahn, for example. The beautiful thing about this climb is the Platte hunting lodge on the pass!
Dies ist nicht mein Lieblingsanstieg: unten durch den Ort, oben die sehr stark befahrene Straße mit zwei Spuren bergauf. Ich bevorzuge den Weg über z.B. Engenhahn. Schön an diesem Anstieg ist das Jagdschloss Platte auf dem Pass!
Nice climb from Wehen, where the devil is at the tail. The climb starts in the village and goes along a fairly quiet road that joins the busier Landstrasse 417. If you then descend the 417 to Wiesbaden, you'll be treated to great views over Wiesbaden!
Mooie klim vanuit Wehen, waarbij het venijn aan de staart zit. De klim begint in het dorp en gaat over een redelijk rustige weg die uitkomt bij de drukkere Landstrasse 417. Als je de 417 vervolgens afdaalt naar Wiesbaden, wordt je getrakteerd op een prachtig uitzicht over Wiesbaden!
