Very long and not hard at all. The full climb from Henley-on Thames is the longest continuous incline in the UK at 11.5km long (not the 9km long Cragg Vale, despite what the Yorkshire Tourist Board will tell you). That said, most of that "ascent" is a barely noticeable 1%, and even the segment listed here is at best false flat. Overall however, the climb is rather nice, snaking through the woods and downs of the Chilterns. Being quiet and in a nice environment, this climb is definite... read more

Well known around the area, mostly steady single digits ascent with a steeper last few hundred meters worth a go to see how you do against all the others who have done it.

Locally notorious as long and getting progressively steeper, until the bit in the trees makes your legs burn. Narrowish road, moderate traffic. Early stage is a pleasant meander through villages outside of Henley. Not much in the way of views on the later stages until you get to the top.

Not great. Quite a busy road and it's more of a slope than a climb and then in the trees at the top.
