The Jaizkibel is a magnificent climb. The climb has one big disadvantage and that is that you always have to go through the city to get there. But it is worth it. The first two kilometres are quite tough, but after that it gets easier. This first part you drive through the woods and you have no further views. About two kilometres before the top, the views begin, which are really beautiful on a nice sunny day. The classica San Sebastián also passes here every year, and this climb is then great for the images.
You do the road mainly with other cyclists, both on mountain bikes and people on racing bikes. On the other hand, the road surface is a bit bumpy and putty, so watch out when descending. Really a wonderful climb if you are in the city and want to get out of it.
