Very nice climb, never too steep, practically always in the middle of the forest and well paved. I did it on a gravel bike (47 tyres) and on a cloudy and cool day (14 degrees at the summit), so I didn't have any problems with the heat, but the presence of the trees suggests a well-shaded climb. If you descend towards Alfedena, watch out for the descent, which is still asphalted but poorly maintained and therefore has insidious potholes, cracks and gravel; I recommend at least 28 tyres, no problem with the gravel.
Salita molto bella, mai troppo ripida, praticamente sempre in mezzo al bosco e ben asfaltata. L'ho fatta con la gravel (copertoni da 47) e in una giornata nuvolosa e fresca (in vetta 14 gradi) perciò non ho avuto problemi di caldo ma la presenza degli alberi fa pensare a una salita ben ombreggiata. Se scenderete verso Alfedena occhio alla discesa, sempre asfaltata ma poco manutenuta e perciò con buche insidiose, crepe e brecciolino, consiglio copertoni almeno da 28 con la gravel nessun problema.
