Classic ups and downs of the Ligurian coast. Aurelia road, therefore often busy, especially in summer. It offers beautiful views of the sea. It is possible to 'cut down' the ascent by taking the cycle path that follows the old railway route.

Classico sali e scendi della costa ligure. Strada Aurelia quindi spesso trafficata, soprattutto d'estate. Offre dei bei panorami con vista mare. E' possibile 'tagliare' la salita percorrendo la ciclabile che segue il vecchio percorso ferroviario.

In the classic Milano-Sanremo, this is the second climb on Via Aurelia (along the Ligurian coast). Not as famous as tre Capi, Cipressa and Poggio, but still it is a real climb. Or actually, it rather consists of two climbs, with a small valley with a bridge in the middle. The views are great!
