An ascent not to be underestimated due to its length, the gradient is always moderate even if after Chiesa with already a dozen kilometres on your legs it is difficult to push on the 4-5 km steepest section. In Chiareggio there are hotels and restaurants where one can refresh oneself, while along the route there are 3-4 fountains. Up to Chiesa there is also a cycle path where, however, the gradients are more irregular. During the weekend, the traffic increases considerably.
Salita da non sottovalutare a causa della sua lunghezza, la pendenza è sempre comunque contenuta anche se dopo Chiesa con già una dozzina di km sulle gambe è difficile spingere sul tratto di 4-5 km più pendente. A Chiareggio ci sono hotel e ristoranti dove rifocillarsi mentre lungo il percorso si incontrano 3-4 fontane. Fino a Chiesa c'è anche una ciclabile dove pero le pendenze sono più irregolari. Durante il week-end il traffico aumenta parecchio.
