My usual connection between Maastricht and the Bemelerberg, it only bites in the very last bit, where it ends on the road to Bemelen. Usually pretty quiet, you may find the occasional cyclist coming down, but the visibility (aside from a tad of darkness brought by the shadows) is good.
Careful once you reach the top, as you find yourself on a fairly busy road
Few climbs to it - especially dangerous in the bush (narrow, oncoming traffic) + when you get to the top, no cars seem to know this street.
Weinig klimmen aan - vooral gevaarlijk in het bosje (smal, tegenliggers) + als je boven komt, lijkt geen enkele wagen dit straatje te kennen.
Not a spectacular climb of a convenient connecting road from various directions to Bemelen. Only the last 100 metres to Bemelerweg require a bit of braking. Also watch out for descending oncoming traffic which is sometimes difficult to see due to poor light from the overhanging trees. At the junction with Bemelerweg, pay special attention to traffic from both sides!!!!
Geen spectaculaire klim van een handig verbindingsweggetje vanuit diverse richtingen naar Bemelen. Alleen de laatste 100 meter tot aan de Bemelerweg moet je even aanzetten. Tevens opletten voor dalende tegenliggers die door slechte lichtinval van de overhangende bomen soms moeilijk te zien zijn. Op de splitsing met de Bemelerweg vooral opletten op verkeer van beide zijden!!!!

Short climb and a nice crossing from Maastricht to Bemelen. From a flat area the road starts to climb slowly and then, when you have entered a hollow road, it gets a bit steeper. Just before the end it is a bit of a push and you come out on the Bemelerweg. The road meanders slightly and has good tarmac.
Kort klimmetje en een leuke doorsteek vanuit Maastricht richting Bemelen. Vanuit vlak gebied begint de weg langzaam te klimmen waarna je, als je een holle weg bent ingegaan, het steeds iets steiler wordt. Vlak voor het eind is het even aanzetten waarna je op de Bemelerweg uit komt. De weg slingert lichtjes en heeft goed asfalt.
