After the bridge over the stream, it starts off immediately hard (peaks of 17-18% in the second hairpin bend) and remains so for about 500 metres, until the third hairpin bend. With the bdc you really have to go looking for it. I tackled it by descending into the Agogna valley from Ameno. After the bridge over the stream, it starts off immediately hard (peaks of 17-18% in the second hairpin bend) and remains so for about 500 metres, until the third hairpin bend. Entering Milanetto the gradient drops drastically and remains close to 10% and then becomes very hard again after Tabarino until a fork with a wash-house and fountain on the left. The road continues much easier until the fork for Pecorino or Cassano. Opting for Pecorino, the road is downhill and ends as a dirt track near the church. If you choose the road to Cassano, the asphalt road ends shortly afterwards near a bend to the left. It is a demanding but not impossible climb. In any case, it is best to tackle it with appropriate ratios. With 34, a 28 (or as in my case, a 30) is better, at least for the first section,
Ascent through the woods on roads without traffic and immersed in the nature of Ameno. From the bridge, the road begins to climb steeply towards the houses above and leaves no room for breath until its conclusion. If you wish with a gravel bike (or even a racing bike for the more adventurous) you can continue for another 1.5 km to the Cappella del Vago
