I agree with Comitatus above - the gradient feels much tougher than 11% and the hairpins are quite sharp. Going back down on wet road through some of them is "interesting". But hardly any traffic, nice surrounding, definitely worth it, in particular in combination with much easier and more steady neighbouring Seebergsattel.... read more

A challenging climb. Road has some cracks. I was almost alone here on a Monday lunchtime, very pleasant. Spectacular views. Without a bike computer, you are a bit lost: no altitude information, no gradients, the highest point is not marked. After road kilometre 5.6, it goes down again, the five kilometres are quite hard because they are steep. There are no refreshment stops at the top.

Ohne Fahrradcomputer ist man etwas Lost: Keine Höhenangaben, keine Steigungen, der höchste Punkt ist nicht markiert. Nach Straßenkilometer 5,6 geht es wieder runter, die gut fünf Kilometer sind recht hart weil steil. Oben keine Einkehrmöglichkeit.
